"MC Imprint performed a new song, and current radio single "Hopscotch" to an amp'd crowd in the Honda Center parking lot for the Powerhouse Pre Party. Power 106 DJ - Yesi Ortiz, hosted the party, and introduced the "Who's Next?" winner/upcoming hip hop artist. Upon stepping on stage, Imprint immediately tossed cd's and shirts out to the kids. "I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing the very talented MC Imprint this week. The up and coming rapper visited us in the studio to talk about his debut album “The First Impression,” how he got started in the music business, and what it’s like to be living his dream after a long history of dark times during his adolescent years. MC Imprint won Power 106′s “Who’s Next” contest a few months ago and was awarded by opening for J. Cole at the SXSW show in Austin, Texas.
